Privacy Policy

Last updated August 30, 2026

We keep this simple. We collect the details needed to evaluate your data and talk with you, and personal information never reaches a buyer.

1. Scope

This policy explains how Big Data/Little Guy (BDLG) handles information collected through our website, evaluation form, buyer form, booking form, and email.

2. Information we collect

Contact details you give us: first name, last name, business name, work email, and phone number.

Evaluation answers you give us: industry, years in business, data types, record volume, structure, and similar business level details.

Email activity: whether a message we sent was delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, or reported as spam, so we can keep our records accurate.

Basic technical data: pages visited and general device information used to keep the site working and secure.

3. What we do not collect

We do not ask you to upload customer records, patient records, employee records, or raw databases through this website.

Our forms are designed to describe your data at a high level, not to receive it.

4. How we use information

To calculate your evaluation estimate and show your data partnership profile.

To contact you about your request, answer questions, and schedule calls.

To send updates you asked for, and to send occasional messages about the marketplace. You can opt out at any time.

To improve our scoring model, our benchmarks, and the site itself.

5. Sanitization before any buyer sees data

If you decide to move forward, data is prepared before it reaches a buyer. Personal information is removed, direct identifiers are scrubbed, and proprietary details are protected.

Names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, payment details, government identifiers, and account numbers are always removed.

You review and approve what leaves your business. Nothing is shared without your approval.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with service providers who help us operate, including hosting, database, email delivery, and scheduling providers. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

7. Email choices and consent

When you submit a form you consent to being contacted about your request.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also manage your preferences on our email preferences page or write to us and we will opt you out.

We honor opt outs across our system, so a contact who opts out stops receiving automated messages.

8. Security

Access to our internal console is limited to approved administrator accounts, and every record is protected by row level access rules in our database.

Data is encrypted in transit. We keep internal access limited to the people who need it.

9. Retention

We keep evaluation submissions and contact records for as long as needed to serve you and to keep accurate business records. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to your information, ask for corrections, ask for deletion, or object to certain uses.

To make a request, email privacy@bdlg.ai. We may need to confirm your identity before acting.

11. Children

This site is for business use. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

12. Changes

If we update this policy, we will change the date below. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.

13. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@bdlg.ai.
